Well he writes some great books, but his was the EB-1 Vampire, we're still working on our EB-1 . Ours will have the call sign Static rather than Vampire though.

B-1R Declassified Report
After extensive flight testing and long range flights from Rio de Janeiro to Gibraltar AB and San Clemente NALF to Hong Kong Intl we have the following are specifications of the B-1R.
Top *Recorded* Speed in level flight: 2,627 knots
Cruising Speed (Actual Speed at 60,000 Feet): 2,166 knots (Appx. One mile every two seconds)
Cruising Speed at 80,000 feet: 2,033
Roll Rate: Appx. 50 Degrees/second
Radar Range: 40 NM (About 80 seconds in front of the Vampire if approaching from behind)
Stall Speed (Without Flaps): 170 knots
Maximum *Tested* Altitude: 98,000 Feet
Maximum Range (Cruising at 60,000 feet): Appx. 5,700 NM
Maximum Range (Cruising at 80,000 feet and no afterburner for maximum performance): Appx. 37,000 NM
Landing Speed: 230 knots
Cruising Altitude (Noncombat Transit): 60,000 feet
Cruising Altitude (Combat Transit): 80,000 feet
Suggested Strike Altitude: 2,500 feet AGL
Suggested Radar Altitude: 80,000 feet
