Virtual Military Finance Suggestion
I would like this to be brought in about the finances of Virtual Militaries I got the idea from WDF then have modified it to suite everyone. I propose that all Virtual Militaries receive the real life amount of money that the countries they occupy receives minus the real life budget that the Country/State sets. The real life amount of money would be the Country's/State's GDP and the budget would be the real one if you can find it, or divide the GDP by 4.9 (Close to most budgets). Then their monthly wage is the GDP minus the Budget then divided by 12.
The Virtual Military would receive at the start of the month their monthly wage (GDP minus the Budget then divided by 12) and any additional payments e.g. Virtual Airlines, Manufacturing Plants, Resource Mines (amount of payment for this still under development).
Country GDP's can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_%28nominal%29
U.S. States GDP's can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_by_GDP_%28nominal%29
Canadian States GDP's can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Canadian_provinces_and_territories_by_gross_domestic_product
Then simply put the rest into Google, and we are going of 2008 or nearest data.
The Budgets for Countries can be found here under Revenues (million $) :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Government_budget_by_country
States will have to be Googled and can be found on their States main website or use the formula. Use the 2008 or nearest data.
